Mindful Meditation

Mindful Meditation can be practised alongside everyday practical mindfulness exercises and is very useful in providing another way to induce calmness and relaxation and to teach other useful mindful concepts.

It is different to traditional mantra (transcendental) meditation that is typified by the idea of a silently chanting monk, in that these meditations are usually much shorter and practical for our modern times.

Mindful Meditations include simple Awareness exercises to practise being present, the Body Scan exercise which helps induce calmness and relaxation, as well as more philosophical  concepts addressed within mindful practise such as Forgiveness, Acceptance and Gratitude.

Mindful meditation is offered as part of the training and will include on-going access to recorded meditations that can be listened to at any time.

The Body Scan exercise can be listened to by clicking the link below.
